The heart chakra, also known as the Anahata chakra, is the fourth of the seven main chakras in the human body. It is located at the center of the chest and is associated with the air element and the color green.
This chakra is believed to be the core of love, compassion, and the ability to give and receive love. It also impacts our ability to connect and relate to others, both on a personal and spiritual level.
As the middle of the seven chakras, it bridges the gap between our upper and lower chakras.
When it is balanced, it allows for a sense of inner peace and compassion and a capacity for love and empathy.
People with heart chakra blocks often put others first, to their own detriment. When blocked, it can cause feelings of loneliness, isolation, or a lack of compassion for others.
Its entrepreneurial interpretation is all about Emotional balance.
Being able to remain calm and clear-headed during a stressful situation or crisis allows leaders to manage their emotions and spreads their calm to those they lead.
Yes, a green yoga mat and props are always nice to have, and I've gathered a few that you can find on my VENNDY, but for me, the things that help are
- Practicing gratitude by daily journaling
- Guided meditation with self-love affirmations..
- And yet, the biggest, most profound impact on the heart chakra came from my studies of the Vedic philosophy and especially Bhakti yoga, the path of devotion and love for any endeavor. Universal love, unconditional love, is the highest form of Bhakti yoga where we can see the beauty in everything around us.
It IS a constant work in progress.
